All of these things are important, and if you don't have the answers to these questions and more, it will be very hard to grow the business. |
For clients who have an existing website, we use analytics to understand the current site metrics. For instance, we can determine how people are finding the website, what keywords they're using to get there and what behaviors they are performing once on the site. For new websites, or sites we are developing for a customer, we always setup analytics and apply tracking code to each and every page. We'll setup weekly reports that get sent out automatically and then use the data we obtain through analyzing the sites metrics data to constantly improve search and steer the website to better more profitable traffic and keywords.
